MID CHEST BREAST EXERCISE
Bench Press
work the middle portion of the chest. You can use a barbell or 2
dumb bells. Personally, I prefer to use dumb bells as I would not
need to have a spotter beside me, just in case I get pinned by the bar
bell.
By modifying
your grip, you can use this exercise to work either the mid-chest or the
upper chest. Turning your hands inward works the muscle of the upper
chest while turning them forward works more of the middle portion of the
chest.
Begin with
dumb bell weighing 2 to 5 pounds.
Here's
what you do:
Lie on a
padded weight bench with your feet flat on the floor about
shoulder-width apart.
Hold
dumbbells at chest level, using either a forward grip or an inward grip.
Inhale and
raise the dumb bells until your arms are fully extended.
Exhale after
passing the most difficult part of the lift.
Pause in the
top position, then inhale as you lower the weight back down to your
chest.
Pause for a
second then Repeat
